1 week check up
Gage had his 1 week check up today. At birth (12-14-07) he weighed 7lbs. 6oz. The day we were discharged from the Hospital (12-16-07) he weighed 6lbs. 15oz. Today (12-21-07) he weighed in at 6lbs. 14oz. What a little man. The Doctor said not to worry. It is normal to drop weight the first 1-10 days. In about a week he should be back up to his birth weight. He looks a little yellow, so he had a blood test done. I was suppose to get a call this afternoon with the result, but didn't. I'll call Monday to make sure everything is good. Other than that, he's doing great. He's a bit of a night owl, but I'll work on switching that around. As for me, I'm healing nicely. A little sore still here and there, but mostly I feel great. As for Jarrod and the girls, everyone is adjusting fine and we are all happy that Gage is here in time for Christmas.
